Skill in Maintaining Professional Boundaries [Residential Broker #186]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls. Proverbs 25:28.
Devotional
Boundaries protect not only your time, but your emotional health, your family, your focus, and your peace. Without boundaries, your energy leaks, your relationships strain, and your excellence fades.
Strong boundaries look like:
saying “no” with grace,
limiting after-hours communication,
avoiding unhealthy emotional entanglements,
declining clients who violate your values,
separating work stress from home life,
and scheduling rest.
Boundaries are not walls—they are gates. They allow in what blesses and keep out what drains. They create space for God to strengthen your spirit and renew your passion.
Without boundaries, burnout is inevitable. With boundaries, excellence becomes sustainable.
Reflection Questions
Which boundary is God nudging me to strengthen?
Where have I become too accessible or emotionally entangled?
What boundary could increase my peace this week?
Prayer
Lord, help me set wise, healthy boundaries. Give me courage to protect what matters and strength to maintain balance. Amen.
