Scripture
“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” — Hebrews 12:1
Devotional
Distractions are everywhere—emails, calls, meetings, unexpected issues, and constant demands for your attention. In a profession that requires precision and focus, distractions can quickly undermine your effectiveness.
Staying focused is not just about productivity—it is about stewardship.
Your time, attention, and energy are resources entrusted to you. When they are scattered, your work suffers. When they are directed with intention, your effectiveness increases.
Focus requires discipline. It means prioritizing what matters most, minimizing unnecessary interruptions, and staying present in the task at hand.
Spiritually, focus also means keeping your purpose in view. You are not just completing tasks—you are fulfilling a calling.
When you align your attention with your purpose, distractions lose their power.
