Stewarding Influence Wisely [Accountant #42]

Scripture: “To whom much is given, much will be required.” — Luke 12:48

Devotional

As your experience grows, so does your influence. Whether advising clients, mentoring staff, or shaping decisions, your voice carries weight. Influence is a gift—but it is also a responsibility.

Scripture reminds us that greater responsibility accompanies greater trust. Stewarding influence wisely means using your expertise to serve rather than dominate. It means guiding with humility, not pride.

Your counsel may shape major financial decisions. Your recommendations may affect livelihoods and long-term stability. Such influence requires prayerful consideration and a heart aligned with God’s purposes.

Wise stewardship of influence asks, “How can I use this position to honor God and benefit others?” When your influence is grounded in humility and service, it becomes a channel for good.

Today, treat your influence as sacred trust.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where has God increased your influence recently?

  2. How can you ensure your guidance reflects humility and integrity?

Prayer

God, help me steward influence wisely. Let my words and actions serve others and bring honor to You. Amen.
