Influence is one of the greatest responsibilities entrusted to a banker.
Your guidance affects decisions, opportunities, businesses, and families. People often rely on your expertise during significant financial moments, trusting that your recommendations will help shape their future wisely.
With influence comes responsibility.
It can be tempting to view influence as status or authority, but Scripture frames it differently—as stewardship. Influence is not something to use for personal advantage; it is something to manage faithfully for the good of others and the glory of God.
Wise stewardship of influence means using your position to encourage honesty, fairness, and sound judgment. It means recognizing that your words carry weight and your example affects those around you.
Influence also requires humility. The more responsibility you carry, the more dependent you should become on God’s wisdom.
Today, remember that your influence is a gift entrusted to you by God. Use it carefully and faithfully.
