Scripture: “To whom much is given, much will be required.” (Luke 12:48)

Reflection:

An inheritance is not just a gift to receive—it’s a trust to steward. Luke 12:48 reminds us that to whom much is given, much is required. As heirs of God’s kingdom, we are called to live faithfully, using what He has entrusted to us for His glory and purposes.

Our spiritual inheritance includes the gifts of salvation, grace, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. These blessings are not meant to be hoarded but to be shared with others. We are stewards of God’s love, truth, and resources, tasked with advancing His kingdom on earth.

Stewardship involves intentionality and gratitude. It means aligning our lives with God’s will, investing in relationships, and sharing the hope we have in Christ. When we steward our inheritance well, we reflect God’s goodness and invite others to experience His grace.

This responsibility is not a burden but a privilege. God empowers us through His Spirit to live as faithful stewards, equipping us to fulfill His purposes. As we steward our inheritance, we grow closer to Him and discover the joy of partnering with Him in His mission.

Application Question / Challenge:

What aspects of your spiritual inheritance (e.g., your faith, resources, or relationships) can you steward more intentionally? Identify one way to use these gifts for God’s glory this week.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the gifts You have entrusted to me. Teach me to steward my inheritance with faithfulness and gratitude, using all that I have to glorify You and bless others. Amen.
