Uncertainty at work—possible layoffs, restructuring, economic shifts, or leadership changes—can stir up fear. You may feel tempted to cling tighter, control more, or despair. Yet Scripture calls you to a different posture: rejoice in hope, be patient in trouble, and stay constant in prayer.
Hope is not naïve optimism; it is confidence in God’s character and promises. Patience in tribulation doesn’t mean passivity; it means you keep walking in obedience even when outcomes are unclear. Constancy in prayer keeps your heart anchored in the One who is never uncertain.
Stewarding hope means refusing to let worst-case scenarios rule your thoughts. You acknowledge real risks, take wise steps, and then consciously choose to place your future in God’s hands. Your steadiness in uncertainty can point others to the One who holds tomorrow.

Prayer
Lord, You see the uncertainties swirling around my work. Teach me to rejoice in the hope I have in You. Help me be patient in trouble and steadfast in prayer, trusting that my future rests safely in Your hands. Amen.
