Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian life—and of work. Waiting on an answer, an opportunity, a decision, a promotion, or a change can feel like being stuck in neutral. You may wonder if God has forgotten you or if your faithfulness is making any difference.
Scripture calls you to wait for the Lord, not just for circumstances to shift. That means your hope is anchored in Him, not in a specific outcome. While you wait, your work is not wasted. God often uses waiting seasons to deepen your character, clarify your desires, and increase your dependence on Him.
Stewardship in waiting looks like this: you keep showing up, doing your best, seeking His face, and staying open to His leading. You don’t give in to despair or apathy; you take courage in the One who sees the whole path ahead.

Prayer
Lord, waiting is hard, and I confess I often grow impatient. Teach me to wait for You with courage. Help me be faithful in this season, trusting that You are working even when I can’t see it. Amen.
