Your work story—the jobs you’ve had, the doors that opened or closed, the hardships you’ve endured, the lessons you’ve learned—is part of your testimony. God has been at work in your work, redeeming, guiding, correcting, and providing.
Stewarding that story means being willing to share it when appropriate—not to boast about your resilience, but to point to His faithfulness. You might share how He sustained you through a layoff, led you through a difficult transition, changed your heart about work, or met you in a season of failure.
Your story can encourage others who are discouraged, confused, or searching for meaning in their own careers. When you “say so” about what the Lord has done, you turn your personal history into praise and into a tool He can use in others’ lives.

How have you seen God’s hand in your work journey so far—through highs and lows?
Is there someone who might be encouraged by a part of your story right now?
How can you share your experiences in a way that highlights God’s faithfulness more than your own strength?
Prayer
Father, thank You for the ways You’ve worked in my work story. Help me remember and recognize Your hand. Give me opportunities and courage to share what You’ve done, so that You receive glory and others receive encouragement. Amen.
