Scripture: “In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.” — Proverbs 14:23 (ESV)
Devotional
Hard work is not just a requirement of real estate—it is a blessing. God designed work to be meaningful, productive, and satisfying. Even when the tasks feel mundane or repetitive, Scripture teaches that there is profit in diligent effort.
Real estate rewards persistence: following up, preparing thoroughly, learning continually, and showing up with consistency. But diligence is not just a business principle—it is a spiritual one. God shapes your character through faithful effort. He strengthens discipline through repetition. He matures your faith through responsibility.
Your hard work matters to God. He sees every hour, every call, every showing, every late-night contract review. Even when results feel delayed, your labor is not wasted.
Do your work faithfully today. Not to impress people. Not to chase success. But to honor the Lord who designed you for meaningful labor. When you give your best, God brings the increase in His time.
Reflection Questions:
· What part of my work requires renewed diligence?
· Am I working to be seen, or working to honor God?
· How can I approach today’s tasks with purpose?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of meaningful work. Help me labor with diligence, excellence, and joy. Let my effort bring You honor and reflect Your character. Amen.
