Scripture: “Give thanks in all circumstances…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Devotional
Gratitude is easy when things are going well—when clients are satisfied, markets are strong, and business is growing. But Scripture calls us to something deeper: gratitude in all circumstances.
Gratitude shifts perspective. It reminds you that everything you have—your skills, your opportunities, your relationships—is a gift from God. It guards your heart from entitlement and comparison.
In your profession, it’s easy to focus on what’s missing—missed opportunities, difficult clients, unmet goals. But gratitude invites you to see what’s present—God’s provision, His faithfulness, His ongoing work in your life.
A grateful advisor leads differently. You serve with joy, not obligation. You give with openness, not hesitation. You work from a place of abundance, not scarcity.
Gratitude doesn’t ignore challenges—it reframes them in light of God’s goodness.
Reflection Questions:
What are you currently grateful for in your work?
Where have you been focusing more on what’s lacking than what’s been provided?
How can you cultivate a daily habit of gratitude?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for every blessing—seen and unseen. Help me live with a grateful heart, trusting that You are always at work.
