Serving clients well means showing up prepared—not only with information, but with thought. Anyone can print a brochure and show up. A faithful broker studies the details, anticipates questions, researches comparable options, and thinks through possible paths forward before the meeting.
Preparedness tells your clients, “You matter. Your assignment matters.” It honors their time and builds confidence in your counsel. It also reduces confusion and prevents wasted meetings where everyone leaves with more questions than they arrived with.
You are not just selling space; you are stewarding decisions that often carry high financial and strategic impact. Preparation is part of that stewardship. Done unto the Lord, it becomes a form of worship: “God, I’m going to handle this with care because You’ve entrusted it to me.”
Skill isn’t just a gift; it’s something you cultivate. Preparation is where skill grows.
