Scripture: Genesis 1:28 — “Be fruitful and multiply… and have dominion…”
Devotional
God designed humans to contribute—to add value, create, cultivate, build, and steward. Working fruitfully is part of our original mandate. This means you were not created for passivity or insignificance. You were created to make a difference.
Your contribution doesn’t have to be dramatic to be meaningful. Every act of service, wisdom, organization, leadership, care, or creativity helps the world flourish. Every time you solve a problem or support a team, you are living out God’s calling to fruitfulness.
When you use your abilities to bless others, you participate in God’s ongoing work in the world. Your contribution—big or small—matters deeply to God.
Reflection Questions:
Where do you see your work adding value to others?
How can you approach your tasks today with fruitfulness and purpose?
Who might benefit from your contribution in a way you hadn’t considered?
Prayer
Father, thank You for allowing me to contribute to Your world. Help me work fruitfully and faithfully, bringing blessing to others and glory to You. Amen.
