Scripture: “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4 (ESV)
Devotional
Few things communicate respect and integrity more powerfully in real estate than timely communication. Clients get anxious when updates are delayed. Agents grow frustrated when messages go unanswered. A single missed call or slow response can create confusion, misunderstanding, or even lost opportunities.
Timely communication is one of the simplest ways to serve others well.
It does not mean being available 24/7. It means responding promptly, setting clear expectations, and keeping people informed without being asked. It means valuing the emotions, time, and concerns of others enough to communicate with consistency and clarity.
Your communication says, “You matter. I see you. I’m here. ”And that reflects the heart of Christ.
Whether it’s a quick update, a necessary clarification, or a reassurance during a stressful moment, let your communication be marked by diligence, compassion, and integrity.
Reflection Questions:
· Do I respond promptly and clearly, or do I delay communication?
· How can I set expectations that help prevent unnecessary anxiety?
· Who needs an update or message from me today?
Prayer
Lord, help me communicate with diligence and compassion. Give me sensitivity to others’ needs and the discipline to respond with integrity. Amen.
