Scripture: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1 (ESV)
Devotional
Every property you list ultimately belongs to God. Long before a home hits the market, long before a family ever moves in, that place exists under the ownership and authority of the Lord. This truth shapes how you approach your work in profound ways.
You are not just helping people buy and sell houses—you are stewarding God’s creation. The land, the home, the future memories made inside those walls—all are under His care. This means your listings are not merely inventory; they are entrusted spaces. As His ambassador, you are called to steward them with honesty, excellence, and prayer.
When you walk through a listing appointment, you can do so with confidence knowing God has already been present in that home. He knows the story of the seller, the needs of the buyer, and the plan He has for both. You are simply the vessel He uses to guide each step.
Approach your listings with reverence. Let your words be truthful, your advice be wise, and your motives be pure. When you honor God in the process, you invite His peace, favor, and purpose into every transaction.
Reflection Questions:
· How would my attitude change if I viewed every listing as God’s property first?
· What can I do to steward listings with greater integrity and excellence?
· How might God be using me to minister to both sellers and buyers through a single home?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for entrusting me with the stewardship of homes and properties. Help me honor You in how I represent each listing. Use me to serve both sellers and buyers with wisdom, integrity, and compassion. Amen.
