Scripture: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 (ESV)

Devotional

In sales, people often notice the loudest personalities. But in God’s kingdom, consistent character shines brighter than flashy charisma. Your daily choices—showing up on time, treating people with respect, telling the truth, following through, admitting mistakes—create a steady light that points others to Christ.

You don’t have to be the most outgoing person on the team to have influence. When your life reflects the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control—people notice. Over time, they may not remember every presentation you gave, but they will remember how you conducted yourself.

Christlike character is a witness. It makes the gospel believable. It gives credibility to your words. When you live differently in a culture of pressure and self-promotion, your light draws attention—not to you, but to your Father in heaven.

Reflection Questions:

·       What aspects of my character shine the most for Christ right now?

·       Where do I need growth to better reflect His light?

·       How might my consistent character open doors for spiritual conversations?

Prayer

Jesus, let Your light shine through my character. Use my daily choices to reflect Your goodness and draw others to You. Make my life a quiet but powerful testimony at work. Amen.
