Scripture:“ Set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12b
Devotional
Your influence stretches farther than you know. Clients watch how you respond to pressure. Team members absorb your tone. Young professionals are shaped by your conduct. And while leadership may bring opportunity, it also brings responsibility.
Paul’s words to Timothy are not just for the young—they’re for the influential. You are setting an example daily: through your honesty in reporting, your kindness under stress, your ethics in conflict. What kind of example are you setting?
The good news is that Christ doesn’t call you to perfection—He calls you to reflect Him. Influence begins with integrity. Leadership begins with love. When your daily walk matches your faith, your influence becomes a witness, and your work becomes worship.
Reflection Questions:
What kind of example are you currently setting in your professional circle?
Are there areas where your conduct could better reflect Christ?
Who might be watching you more closely than you realize?
Prayer
Jesus, let my influence be marked by integrity and love. Help me reflect You in every decision, interaction, and example I set for others.
