The Wisdom of Patience [Financial Advisor #177]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“A person’s wisdom yields patience.” — Proverbs 19:11.
Devotional
Patience is often tested in the financial advisory profession.
Clients may move slower than expected.
Goals may take longer to achieve.
Business development may require more time than anticipated.
Life rarely unfolds according to our preferred timetable.
Yet patience is one of the clearest expressions of wisdom.
Wise people understand that meaningful things often develop gradually.
Trust takes time.
Relationships take time.
Growth takes time.
Spiritual maturity takes time.
Impatience often tempts us to force outcomes or become discouraged when progress feels slow.
Patience allows us to trust God's timing while remaining faithful in our responsibilities.
It reminds us that our role is obedience.
God's role is results.
As you serve clients and pursue your calling, remember that God frequently works through processes rather than instant solutions.
The seeds planted today may not produce visible fruit immediately.
But faithfulness and patience often produce harvests that are worth the wait.
Trust the process.
Trust God's timing.
And continue moving forward faithfully.
