Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God … and it will be given him.” — James 1:5 (ESV)
Devotional
Sales requires wisdom—wisdom to understand a client’s needs, wisdom to discern timing, wisdom to speak or stay silent, wisdom to negotiate with integrity, and wisdom to make decisions that honor Christ. The good news? God promises to give wisdom generously to all who ask.
You are not left to navigate complex situations alone. God offers divine clarity in conversations, proposals, and decisions. He can highlight what a client truly needs, reveal the right next step, and grant discernment in high-pressure moments.
Wisdom is your competitive advantage—not merely the wisdom you’ve gained through experience, but the supernatural wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit. God’s wisdom leads to peace, honesty, excellence, and fruitfulness.
Ask Him daily: “Lord, give me wisdom to represent You well today.”
He delights to answer that prayer.
Reflection Questions:
· Where do I need God’s wisdom in my work right now?
· Do I seek His guidance before making decisions?
· How has God provided clarity in my sales career in the past?
Prayer
Lord, I need Your wisdom. Guide my words, decisions, and actions. Help me see what I cannot see on my own and honor You in every interaction. Amen.
