Scripture: “We have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways… but by the open statement of the truth we commend ourselves.” — 2 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV)

Devotional

In real estate, transparency is one of your most powerful tools. Confusion breeds frustration, but clarity builds trust. When you communicate openly—about timelines, pricing strategies, risks, delays, or expectations—you free your clients from fear and empower them with understanding.

Transparency doesn’t weaken your authority; it strengthens it. Clients respect the advisor who tells them the truth, not just the news they want to hear. They trust the broker who explains the process, points out potential pitfalls, and keeps them informed every step of the way.

God calls His people to walk in the light, and one way you live that out is through honest, clear communication. Transparency reveals character. It reduces misunderstandings. It diffuses tension. It honors God because it reflects His truthfulness.

Make transparency a habit today—in your updates, your pricing advice, and your communication with lenders, agents, and inspectors. You don’t need perfection to build trust—you need honesty.

Reflection Questions:

·       Where can more transparency improve my client relationships?

·       Am I clear in my communication, or do I avoid difficult details?

·       How does transparency reflect Christ?

Prayer

Lord, make my communication clear, honest, and full of light. Help me walk in transparency that honors You and strengthens trust with those I serve. Amen.
