Trusting God in Seasons of Growth [Financial Advisor #164]

Scripture

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1.

Devotional

Growth is exciting.

New clients.

Expanded opportunities.

Increasing influence.

Professional success.

These seasons can feel rewarding because they often reflect years of hard work and perseverance.

Yet growth brings its own challenges.

It can tempt you toward self-reliance.

It can create pressure to maintain momentum.

It can subtly shift your focus from dependence on God to dependence on your own abilities.

That is why Scripture reminds us that lasting success ultimately comes from the Lord.

Your effort matters.

Your preparation matters.

Your diligence matters.

But God remains the source of every lasting blessing.

Healthy growth should increase gratitude rather than pride.

It should deepen dependence rather than diminish it.

The more responsibility God entrusts to you, the more important it becomes to remain rooted in Him.

Celebrate growth.

Enjoy the opportunities He provides.

But never forget the One who makes them possible.

Success becomes far more meaningful when it is viewed as stewardship rather than ownership.

Reflection Questions

• How do I respond during seasons of growth and success?

• Am I becoming more dependent on God or more dependent on myself?

• How can I steward growth in a way that honors Him?

Action Step

Lord, thank You for every blessing and opportunity. Help me remain humble, grateful, and dependent on You in every season of growth. Amen.
