Trusting God Through Unresolved Situations [Attorney #144]

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Psalm 37:7.
Devotional
Some situations in legal work remain unresolved longer than expected. Cases stall. Decisions are delayed. Outcomes remain uncertain. These seasons can create frustration and anxiety because you naturally want closure and progress.
Yet waiting is often part of God’s process.
Unresolved situations test your patience and your trust. They reveal whether your peace depends on immediate answers or on God’s faithfulness.
Waiting does not mean inactivity. You are still called to prepare, work diligently, and remain responsible. But emotionally and spiritually, you must learn to rest in God while outcomes remain unfinished.
This kind of trust develops slowly. It grows as you repeatedly surrender situations beyond your control and choose faith over worry.
God is still at work even when progress is invisible. Delays do not mean abandonment. Silence does not mean absence.
Some of the deepest spiritual growth occurs in unresolved seasons because they teach dependence, patience, and perseverance.
You may not yet understand how everything will unfold—but you can trust the One who does.

Father, help me trust You in unresolved seasons. Teach me patience and strengthen my faith while I wait for clarity and direction. Amen.
