Devotional
There are seasons in legal work when the path forward feels uncertain. You may lack clarity about a case, a decision, a career direction, or a difficult situation that has no obvious solution.
In those moments, the desire for certainty can become overwhelming.
But God rarely reveals every detail at once. Instead, He promises enough light for the next step.
A lamp illuminates only a portion of the road ahead. It provides guidance one step at a time. In the same way, God often leads gradually, teaching you to walk by faith rather than complete certainty.
Trusting God without full clarity requires humility and patience. It means continuing to move forward faithfully even when you cannot yet see the entire outcome.
You do not need perfect understanding to remain obedient. You simply need willingness to follow God’s direction step by step.
His guidance may come through Scripture, wise counsel, prayer, or growing peace in your spirit. As you continue seeking Him, He will provide what you need for the next decision.
Faith grows strongest when certainty is absent.

Identify one uncertain situation and ask God specifically for guidance regarding your next step—not the entire outcome.
