Trusting God with Delayed Breakthroughs [Sales Professional #172]
Scripture
“For in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
Devotional
Delayed breakthroughs can be some of the hardest seasons in sales—when you’ve done everything right, sown faithfully, maintained integrity, but still haven’t seen the harvest you hoped for.
Paul says the harvest comes “in due season,” not in your season. God’s timing is often different from yours, not because He is slow, but because He is wise. He prepares hearts, circumstances, opportunities, and you yourself in ways you cannot see.
Delays are not denials. The seeds you’ve sown—conversations, proposals, prayers, faithful work—are not wasted. Some breakthroughs take months or years, not days. Don’t give up. Your “due season” will come in God’s perfect timing.
Reflection Questions
Where am I waiting for a breakthrough that hasn’t come yet?
What fears or frustrations is the delay revealing?
How can I stay faithful during the waiting?
Prayer
Father, strengthen me in this season of delay. Keep me from giving up. Let me trust Your timing and continue sowing faithfully until Your appointed harvest comes. Amen.
