Trusting God with Long-Term Impact [Accountant #55]

Scripture: “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm… because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58

Devotional

Accounting often produces results that are incremental rather than dramatic. You may not always see the long-term impact of your diligence. Yet Scripture assures you that work done in the Lord is never wasted.

Your faithfulness may prevent unseen problems, protect financial stability, or guide wise decisions that ripple forward for years. Even when outcomes feel small, God sees the broader story.

Standing firm means continuing in integrity regardless of immediate recognition. It means trusting that God uses steady obedience for purposes beyond what you can measure.

Your labor matters—not only professionally, but eternally. Each faithful act contributes to a legacy shaped by obedience.

Today, remain firm. Trust that God is weaving your faithful work into His greater purposes.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where do you feel unsure whether your work makes lasting difference?

  2. How does God’s promise encourage perseverance?

Prayer

Lord, help me stand firm in faithfulness. Remind me that my labor in You carries lasting significance. Amen.
