Trusting God with Outcomes [Accountant #15]

Scripture: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3

Devotional

Accountants are trained to anticipate outcomes, manage risks, and reduce uncertainty. While diligence is wise, Scripture reminds us that ultimate outcomes rest with God.

Trusting God does not mean neglecting responsibility. It means releasing control over what you cannot manage. It acknowledges that faithfulness is your role; results are God’s.

When you commit your work to the Lord, you invite peace into uncertainty. You rest knowing that obedience matters more than predictability.

Today, practice trust. Do your work faithfully—and leave the rest with Him.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where do you struggle most to release control over outcomes?

  2. How might trust change your response to uncertainty?

Prayer

Lord, I commit my work to You. Help me trust You with outcomes and remain faithful in what You have called me to do. Amen.
