Trusting God with Outcomes [Attorney #70]

Trusting God with Outcomes [Attorney #70]

Scripture: “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this.” — Psalm 37:5

Devotional

In law, outcomes matter—verdicts, settlements, rulings. You prepare, strategize, and advocate with diligence. But ultimately, the outcome is not fully in your control.

This can be one of the greatest sources of stress. You want to deliver results. You want to succeed for your clients. But God calls you to a deeper trust: faithfulness over control.

Your responsibility is obedience—preparing diligently, acting with integrity, and serving faithfully. The results belong to God. When you release outcomes to Him, you find freedom from anxiety and confidence in His sovereignty.

Reflection Questions:

• Where am I trying to control outcomes instead of trusting God?

• What would it look like to release that to Him?

Action Step: Surrender one current case or outcome to God in prayer today.

Prayer

Lord, I trust You with the results. Help me to be faithful in what I can control and trust You with what I cannot. Amen.
