Trusting God with Outcomes [Financial Advisor #48]

Scripture: “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” — Psalm 37:5

Devotional

You can prepare, analyze, and advise—but you cannot control outcomes.

Markets shift. Clients make unexpected decisions. Plans change. And in those moments, you are reminded of a deeper truth: you are responsible for faithfulness, not results.

There is freedom in this.

When you commit your work to the Lord, you release the burden of control. You do your best with excellence and integrity—and trust God with what follows. This doesn’t diminish your responsibility; it reframes it.

Anxiety often grows where control is assumed. Peace grows where trust is practiced.

God is not asking you to guarantee outcomes. He is asking you to walk faithfully with Him through the process.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Where are you currently feeling pressure to control outcomes?

  2. How does that pressure affect your peace or decision-making?

  3. What would it look like to trust God more fully in your work this week?

Prayer

Father, I release the outcomes to You. Help me walk in faithfulness and trust You with what I cannot control.
