Trusting God with Your Future [Banker #120]
Scripture
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…” — Jeremiah 29:11
Devotional
It is natural to think about the future.
Career growth, financial goals, leadership opportunities, transitions, uncertainty, and long-term plans can all occupy your thoughts. In banking especially, planning and forecasting are part of daily life.
But while wise planning is important, your ultimate security rests in God—not in perfectly predicting the future.
God already sees the path ahead. He understands opportunities, challenges, changes, and timing in ways you never could. Nothing about your future surprises Him.
Trusting God with your future does not mean becoming passive. It means planning wisely while holding your plans with open hands. It means remaining faithful today while trusting God to guide tomorrow.
Sometimes God’s direction unfolds gradually rather than all at once. He often leads one step at a time, teaching you dependence along the way.
Today, release fear about the future and place your trust fully in the God who is already there.
