When God Redirects Your Plans Mid-Day [Sales Professional #185]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“A man’s steps are from the Lord; how then can man understand his way?” — Proverbs 20:24 (ESV)
Devotional
Sometimes your day gets interrupted—meetings canceled, calls moved, emergencies arise, or unexpected conversations happen. These disruptions can feel frustrating, but they may be divine redirections.
God often works through the unexpected. A cancelled appointment might free time to help a teammate. A delayed meeting may prevent you from rushing into an unwise decision. A “chance” conversation may become a meaningful ministry moment.
Instead of resisting interruptions, ask: Lord, is this from You?Trust that your steps—even the detours—are ordered by Him.
Reflection Questions
How do I usually react when my schedule is disrupted?
Could some interruptions be God redirecting my steps?
How can I stay spiritually flexible throughout the day?
Prayer
Father, help me trust Your leading even in the unexpected. Redirect my steps according to Your wisdom and help me embrace Your purposes in every interruption. Amen.
