When Integrity Requires Patience [Residential Broker #67]

When Integrity Requires Patience [Residential Broker #67]

Scripture: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” — Psalm 37:7 (ESV)

Devotional

Sometimes the hardest part of integrity is waiting. You may watch other agents succeed through unethical practices while you remain committed to righteousness. You may lose a deal because you told the truth. You may wait longer for listings or opportunities because you refuse to cut corners.

Integrity often requires patience.

But Psalm 37 promises that those who wait on the Lord will see His faithfulness. God always honors obedience—never on our timeline, but always in His perfect timing. When you choose patience over panic, you declare that God—not the market and not your competitors—is your Provider.

Integrity is slow-built, not instant. Its rewards are lasting, not fleeting.

Trust God’s timing. He is never late in blessing those who walk uprightly.

Reflection Questions:

·       Where do I feel impatient about doing what is right?

·       What reward am I tempted to seek prematurely?

·       How can I trust God more deeply with timing?

Prayer

Lord, give me patience as I walk in integrity. Help me trust Your timing and resist the temptation to rush results. Strengthen my faith as I wait. Amen.
