When You Feel Your Influence Is Too Small [Sales Professional #173]

Scripture

“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” — Galatians 5:9 (ESV)

Devotional

You may feel small in your workplace—just one rep among many, one voice in a noisy environment. But Scripture teaches that influence doesn’t depend on size. Even a little leaven affects the whole dough.

Your integrity influences culture.

Your peace affects team morale.

Your honesty shapes expectations.

Your faithfulness inspires others.

Your prayers move heaven.

Don’t underestimate the power of a single obedient believer. God delights to work through what feels small—like mustard seeds, five loaves, or one person committed to Him in a secular setting.

Your influence may be quiet, but it is not insignificant. God multiplies small faithfulness in ways you cannot imagine.

Reflection Questions

Where have I believed the lie that my influence doesn’t matter?

How have I already seen God use small acts of faithfulness?

What “small” thing can I do today that might have eternal impact?

Prayer

Lord, use my influence—even if it feels small. Multiply my faithfulness for Your glory and help me see my workplace through Your eyes. Amen.
