When You’re Treated Unfairly [Sales Professional #165]

Scripture

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” — Psalm 37:5 (ESV)

Devotional

Unfair treatment—missed credit, biased decisions, unbalanced territories, or favoritism—can ignite deep frustration. You want justice now, clarity now, vindication now. But Scripture gives a different path: commit your way to the Lord and trust Him to act.

This doesn’t mean passivity or allowing injustice to flourish. You may need to have honest conversations or pursue proper channels. But your trust is not in systems; it is in God. He sees every detail and judges with perfect justice.

When you release your desire to control the outcome, you free your heart from bitterness—even before the situation resolves. God can defend you better than you can defend yourself.

Reflection Questions

Where am I experiencing unfair treatment?

Have I committed this situation to the Lord—or am I carrying it alone?

What is the next faithful step that reflects Christ?

Prayer

Lord, I commit this unfair situation to You. Act on my behalf, give me wisdom, and guard my heart from bitterness. I trust You more than circumstances. Amen.
