Living out your faith at work will, at times, make you different. You may not join certain conversations, you may refuse certain tactics, you may respond to stress in ways that don’t match the norm. That difference can feel lonely—but it’s evidence of God’s craftsmanship in your life.
You were created in Christ Jesus for good works—acts of integrity, kindness, courage, and service—that He prepared beforehand. Those good works may stand out precisely because they are unusual in your environment.
When coworkers notice, you don’t have to be defensive or ashamed. You also don’t have to be self-righteous. You can simply live faithfully and be ready to share, with humility, why you choose a different path.
Your “difference” is not a defect; it’s part of your design.

Where does my obedience to Christ make me feel “out of step” with my workplace culture?
Do I hide those differences, flaunt them, or carry them with humble confidence?
How can I embrace being God’s workmanship in this specific environment?
Prayer
Father, thank You that You created me in Christ for good works. When obedience makes me stand out, give me courage, humility, and love. Use my “difference” to point others to You. Amen.
