Wisdom in a Noisy World [Financial Advisor #40]

Scripture: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” — Proverbs 9:10

Devotional

The financial world is filled with noise—commentary, predictions, headlines, opinions. Clients come with their own fears and ideas. In the midst of it all, you need something more than information. You need wisdom—the kind that begins not with data, but with reverence for God.

Proverbs reminds us that wisdom is rooted in a right view of God—a heart that honors Him as Sovereign, holy, and trustworthy. When you fear the Lord, you see clearly. You filter advice through truth. You ask better questions. You discern what others miss.

Wisdom quiets the noise. It doesn’t ignore information—it places it beneath the authority of God’s voice. As you begin your day, seek wisdom first—not from the markets or media, but from the Maker of heaven and earth.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Where have you been more influenced by voices around you than the voice of God?

  2. How can you begin each day by seeking divine wisdom before human insight?

  3. What helps you remain spiritually grounded when everything around you feels uncertain?

Prayer

Lord, give me wisdom rooted in reverence. Quiet the noise and tune my heart to Your voice. Lead me by Your truth in every decision I make today.
