Wisdom in Legal Counsel [Attorney #67]

Wisdom in Legal Counsel [Attorney #67]

Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all.” — James 1:5

Devotional

Clients come to you for answers—but often, the situations you face are complex, nuanced, and filled with gray areas. Legal knowledge alone is not enough. You need wisdom.

Wisdom goes beyond knowing the law; it involves discernment, timing, and understanding people. It’s the ability to see not just what is legal, but what is right. In moments of uncertainty, God invites you to rely on Him—not just your training or experience.

Every client conversation is an opportunity to seek divine guidance. When you invite God into your decision-making, you bring clarity into confusion and peace into complexity.

Reflection Questions:

• Do I rely more on my expertise or on God’s wisdom?

• Where do I need discernment in my current caseload?

Action Step: Take one complex case or situation today and intentionally pray for wisdom before acting.

Prayer

God, grant me wisdom beyond my understanding. Guide my decisions so they align with Your truth. Amen.
