Scripture: “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)

Devotional

Worship is far more than songs on Sunday. It is the orientation of your entire life toward the glory of God—including your sales career. Every task, from prospecting to presenting to closing, can become worship when done with the right heart.

Sales is often performance-driven, but God invites you to work from a place of worship rather than pressure. When you offer your work to Him, every action becomes meaningful. Integrity becomes an act of devotion. Patience becomes obedience. Follow-through becomes faithfulness.

Worship is not confined to the sanctuary. It happens when you send an honest proposal… when you refuse manipulation… when you listen deeply to a client’s needs… when you celebrate a coworker’s success… when you reject unethical shortcuts. These moments honor God every bit as much as a hymn.

Sales becomes worship when your goal is not just to close deals, but to please the Lord who sees every detail.

Reflection Questions:

·       What parts of my sales job feel least like “worship,” and how can I reframe them?

·       How might Christ be honored in my daily tasks?

·       What would change if I viewed each customer interaction as an act of worship?

Prayer

Father, reshape my mindset so my work becomes worship. Help me glorify You in my conversations, decisions, and actions. May everything I do reflect Your worthiness. Amen.
