Scripture: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

Reflection: Glorifying God in work doesn’t mean every task will feel exciting or glamorous. It means choosing to honor Him in how we approach every responsibility, regardless of its size. When we work with excellence, diligence, and humility, we showcase His character.

Glorifying God involves more than meeting deadlines or achieving goals. It’s about the heart behind your efforts. Are you working for recognition or to serve Him? Are you focused on personal success or on fulfilling His purposes?

God is glorified when we use our talents to their fullest potential, knowing they are gifts from Him. He is also glorified when we rely on Him for strength, acknowledge Him in our successes, and trust Him in our failures.

Ultimately, glorifying God in work means surrendering our ambitions and inviting Him to lead. As we align our efforts with His will, we reflect His greatness to those around us, turning ordinary work into an extraordinary act of worship.

Application Question / Challenge: What part of your work today can you intentionally dedicate to glorifying God? How can your attitude or actions reflect His greatness?

Prayer: Father, may my work bring glory to Your name. Help me to approach every task with humility, excellence, and gratitude, trusting that You are working through me. Amen.
