Scripture: “We are ambassadors for Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV)
Devotional
As a residential broker, you represent many things—your brand, your brokerage, your professional values. But above all, you represent Christ. You are His ambassador in homes, offices, text messages, negotiations, and every client interaction.
Ambassadors don’t speak on their own authority—they speak on behalf of the One who sent them. They carry responsibility, but they also carry protection and purpose. God places you in conversations where your kindness, honesty, and integrity speak louder than your title ever could.
This representation doesn’t require perfection; it requires presence. When you respond with patience, when you choose ethical honesty, when you pray before answering, you show people what Christ-like leadership looks like. Most clients won’t step into a church during their real estate journey—but they will step into a conversation with you.
Let your conduct preach before your words ever do. You may be the only glimpse of Jesus someone sees this week.
Reflection Questions:
· What does it mean to be Christ’s ambassador in my daily work?
· How can I represent Him more faithfully today?
· Where might God use my character to influence someone?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for trusting me to represent You. Help me reflect Your heart in every appointment, email, and conversation. Make me a faithful ambassador of Your love and truth. Amen..
