You Are Placed, Not Random [Residential Broker #12]

Scripture: “The steps of a man are established by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23 (ESV)

Devotional

Nothing in your career is random—not the office you joined, the market you serve, or the clients you meet. God is intentional. He places His people exactly where He wants them so they can influence, bless, and reflect Him.

Psalm 37:23 reminds you that your steps are established by God. That means your real estate journey is not a collection of lucky breaks, tough seasons, or unexpected turns. It is a path crafted by the One who sees the whole picture and knows precisely what He is doing.

You are placed in this profession on purpose. You are placed in your city on purpose. You are placed in each client’s life on purpose.

Even when business feels slow or the path feels unclear, God is guiding you. Your job is obedience; His job is orchestration. Trust Him with the next step—even if you can’t yet see the full path.

Reflection Questions:

·       Where have I doubted God’s placement in my life or business?

·       How has God used past “unexpected turns” for my good?

·       What next step do I need to trust Him with today?

Prayer

Father, thank You for establishing my steps. Help me trust Your placement in my life and work. Lead me forward with confidence in Your timing and purpose. Amen.

This devotional is intended to help you integrate your faith into your daily work and calling. It is not a substitute for personal time with God in Scripture, prayer, and worship, which are essential for knowing Christ, loving Him deeply, and becoming more like Him.
