Scripture: “Give us this day our daily bread.” — Matthew 6:11 (ESV)
Devotional
Real estate is full of financial highs and lows. Some months overflow with closings; others feel painfully slow. It’s easy to fall into fear when income fluctuates. But Jesus teaches you to pray for “daily bread”—daily provision, daily wisdom, and daily trust—not tomorrow’s worries.
Daily bread means God gives you what you need for today. Not everything for the next month, not the entire year’s income, not all the answers at once. Just enough for the present moment. This keeps your heart dependent, humble, and anchored in grace.
Instead of worrying about next quarter or stressing about what hasn’t yet happened, bring today’s needs before God. Ask Him to provide not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually. Ask Him to calm your mind, open the right doors, and guide your conversations.
Your security is not in the market, your skills, or your production—it is in your Provider. He is your source, not your sales. Trust Him for today’s bread, and He will be faithful again tomorrow.
Reflection Questions:
· Where am I most anxious about provision right now?
· Am I trusting God for today or fearing tomorrow?
· What does “daily bread” look like in my business today?
Prayer
Father, provide what I need today—wisdom, opportunities, peace, and provision. Teach me to rely on You, not on my performance. Thank You that You are faithful in every season. Amen.
