Scripture: “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (ESV)
Devotional
Every aspect of your work reflects something. The way you respond under pressure, the care you give, the integrity you maintain—these all communicate what you value.
As a follower of Christ, your work is meant to reflect Him.
God is compassionate, patient, just, and faithful. When you show kindness, extend patience, act with integrity, and pursue excellence, you reflect His character to those around you.
This is especially powerful in healthcare, where people are often vulnerable and searching for hope. Your actions can point them toward something deeper—even if you never speak a word about your faith.
You may not always feel like you are representing God well. None of us does perfectly. But each day is a new opportunity to align your work with His character.
Your work is more than service—it is representation.
Let your actions reflect the One you follow.
Reflection Questions:
• What does your work currently reflect to others?
• How can you better reflect God’s character today?
Action Step: Choose one characteristic of God (patience, kindness, integrity) and intentionally reflect it in your interactions today.
Prayer
Father, help my work to reflect who You are. Shape my actions so they bring You glory in all I do. Amen.
