Scripture: “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” (Proverbs 11:3)
Reflection:
Integrity is one of the most powerful ways we can worship God through work. It reflects His truth and righteousness in a world often marked by dishonesty and compromise. When we choose to act with integrity, we align ourselves with God’s character and build trust with those around us.
Living with integrity means being honest in all circumstances, even when it’s inconvenient or costly. It’s about being consistent—acting with the same values whether someone is watching or not. This consistency not only pleases God but also creates opportunities to share His love with others.
Jesus modeled perfect integrity, remaining truthful and faithful even when faced with opposition and temptation. As His followers, we are called to reflect this integrity in our work, standing firm in righteousness and demonstrating that we serve a higher purpose.
Integrity in the workplace can open doors for influence. When coworkers see that we are reliable, honest, and ethical, they are more likely to trust us and seek our counsel. Our actions can become a testimony of God’s transforming power.
Application Question / Challenge:
Identify one area in your work where you can practice greater integrity. How can your actions reflect God’s truth and build trust?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to walk in integrity in every aspect of my work. Give me the courage to do what is right, even when it’s difficult, and let my actions reflect Your truth and righteousness. Amen.
