Scripture: “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” (Ephesians 6:7)

Reflection: Work isn’t just about completing tasks; it’s an opportunity to serve others and reflect Christ’s love. Ephesians 6:7 reminds us that when we serve others, we are ultimately serving the Lord. This perspective transforms our relationships and responsibilities, giving them eternal value.

Serving others through work can take many forms—helping a colleague with a project, showing kindness to a customer, or encouraging a coworker who is struggling. These small acts of service demonstrate God’s love and create opportunities to build meaningful connections.

Jesus modeled servant leadership throughout His life. He washed His disciples’ feet, healed the sick, and taught with compassion, all while pointing others to the Father. When we follow His example, our work becomes a platform for ministry and a reflection of His grace.

Serving wholeheartedly means going beyond what’s expected, offering excellence, and putting others’ needs ahead of our own. This not only pleases God but also builds trust and fosters a culture of collaboration and care in the workplace.

Application Question / Challenge: Identify one person you can serve at work today. How can you show kindness, encouragement, or support to reflect Christ’s love?

Prayer: Father, help me to see my work as an opportunity to serve others and glorify You. Teach me to put others’ needs ahead of my own and to reflect Your love in all that I do. Amen.
