Scripture: “Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Reflection:

Work done for the Lord carries eternal significance. While earthly accomplishments may fade, the impact of faithful labor in His name endures forever. 1 Corinthians 15:58 reminds us that our efforts for God are never in vain.

The Great Commission gives purpose to our work, reminding us that every task, relationship, and interaction has the potential to contribute to God’s kingdom. When we approach our work with faithfulness and intention, we align our efforts with His eternal plan.

Even the smallest actions can have lasting effects. A kind word, a patient response, or an act of generosity can ripple through the lives of others, drawing them closer to Christ. These moments are investments in treasures that will never perish.

By dedicating your work to God, you participate in His redemptive mission. Trust that He is using your efforts, both seen and unseen, to transform lives and bring His kingdom to earth.

Application Question / Challenge:

What part of your work can you dedicate to God’s eternal purposes today? Reflect on how you can make your efforts a testimony to His love.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the assurance that my labor for You is never in vain. Help me to approach my work with faithfulness and intention, trusting that You are using my efforts for Your eternal purposes. Amen.
