Scripture: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)

Devotional

Real estate often feels chaotic—deadlines, showings, repairs, inspections, and the ever-present pressure to perform. Yet the Bible teaches that when you commit your work to the Lord, He establishes your steps. That means He steadies your path, aligns your motives, and brings purpose to every detail of your day.

When you begin your morning by handing your business to God, you are acknowledging that He is the source of opportunity, favor, and wisdom. You’re not striving alone. Worship isn’t just singing in church—it’s writing an honest listing, communicating clearly, advising clients with integrity, and honoring God in the unseen details.

Your business becomes an altar where God’s presence shapes everything you do. And when work becomes worship, stress loses power, fear loses its grip, and your heart finds rest—even in a fast-moving market.

Reflection Questions

·       What does it look like to “commit my work to the Lord” today?

·       Which part of my daily routine can I intentionally offer to God as worship?

·       What attitudes or fears do I need to surrender?

Prayer

Father, I commit my work to You today. Establish my steps and make my motives pure. Let my tasks become worship, and let my heart remain in Your peace. Guide every interaction for Your glory. Amen.
